Office and conference centre

The Royal Netherlands Institute of Engineers KIVI owns a beautiful historical office and conference facility in the heart of the city of The Hague in the Netherlands. Located close to the central railway station (5 min. walk) and with a public parking garage within 200 meter the offices are easy to reach. Travel from Amsterdam Schiphol airport takes just 30 minutes by train.
The city centre with hundreds of restaurants and hotels, parliament, and most Government buildings are at less than 10 minutes walking distance.

The KIVI building was originally built in 1726-1728 and purchased by the association in 1919. Completely renovated in 1993 it is now proud to be a national historic monument.

The conference center is full of (hidden) technology to provide for effective and comfortable meetings.

In the main conference hall of KIVI comfortable seating of up to 100 guests is possible. Hi-tech audio and video facilities allow for excellent information exchange.
High speed Wi-Fi access is available throughout the building. On-line live video streaming is available.

The Presidents meeting room seats up to 14 meeting participants in a classical Louis XVI setting. The antique clock has recently been replaced with a 52" video screen with skype videoconferencing capability.

Six more meeting rooms are available for groups of 6 to 24 people. In most of these rooms 42" video screens are available for use with your VGA or HDMI equipped laptop. In most rooms multi-participant Skype videoconferencing is possible.

The central foyer and garden area allow for relaxing breaks during conferences and meetings. Lunches,  cocktail receptions and dinner buffets are usually served here.
When the weather allows a large part of the huge glass wall can be opened hydraulically.
